11min Preschool Series :: Windmill Pictures for ABC Kids :: It’s been such a treat to work on this magical adaptation of Windmill Theatre’s successful stage show about two friends from very different worlds! It will premiere late 2022.
HOME & AWAY :: WRITER
30’ Serial Drama :: Seven West Media for Seven :: For over 30 years, Home & Away has chronicled the lives, loves, trials and tribulations of the residents of Summer Bay, a gorgeous beachside town along the Australian coast. Still a ratings winner, with that same ear-worm of a theme tune, the series has cemented its place in our hearts and in television history. Visit the official Home & Away site.
THE WONDER GANG :: WRITER S1 & S2
11min Factual Entertainment Series for ABC Kids :: Meet Wes, Willow and Whyla – The Wonder Gang! This fantastic little show is an imaginative introduction to natural history for kids – and even features quokka puppets! Answering all those curly questions kids have about animals and the environment, it’s been an instant hit with kids, parents and educators alike.

30’ Serial Drama :: Fremantle Media for Ten (Aust) and Channel 5 (UK) :: Australia’s longest running drama series and one of the country’s most successful exports, Neighbours has charted the tumultuous lives of Ramsay Street’s residents (and relentlessly placed them in bathing suits through Melbourne’s winter months) for over thirty years, and continues to captivate fans across the globe. 11min Comedy Animation Series for 6-10s :: Blue Rocket Productions & Beyond Productions for Nine :: Meet Houston, L-VIZ and Thunderbot – they’re the Dumbotz! Foolhardy robots risking every last nut and bolt to bring you action packed stories about foolhardy robots risking every last nut and bolt! Dumbotz aired on 9Go from April 2019. Interstitial Preschool Series :: ABC Kids for ABC Kids :: Giggle and Hoot is one of Australia’s most popular preschool properties. Jimmy Giggle and his owl pals Hoot and Hootabelle, along with their adorable cast of hoot-tastic friends, provide a gentle and fun complement to pre-schoolers daily routines through songs, adventures and problem solving… And yes, that’s me in the photo! 1 hour Drama Series :: Playmaker Media for Nine :: Set in Sydney’s notorious Kings Cross in the early 70s, Love Child follows the young women forced by their families and society into giving up their babies for adoption at the fictional Stanton House, a home for unwed mothers. Featuring a killer soundtrack and stellar cast including Jess Marais, Mandy McElhinney and Miranda Tapsell, Love Child became the most popular drama series in the country with its heart-wrenching stories of women at a crossroads... Wendy also wrote ‘Livin’ In The 70s with Martha’, the program’s nostalgia fuelled web extension for 9Honey.

5 min Preschool Series :: FredBird Entertainment for ABC Kids :: Presented by Justine Clarke and Miranda Tapsell, Maurice’s Big Adventure captures the joy and trepidation of all the ‘firsts’ children face during their preschool years, giving kids a fun and optimistic guide to the wonderful new adventures that await them.

5 min Preschool Series :: ABC Children’s & ABC Commercial for ABC Kids :: A spin-off series of ABC’s stupendously popular ‘Giggle & Hoot’ brand, Hoot, Hoot, Go! is all about friendship and teamwork. Whenever someone needs help, owl pals Hoot, Hootabelle and Hootly work together to fix the problem – hoot pow! In 2017, Wendy Hanna was nominated for an Australian Writer’s Guild Award for her Hoot, Hoot, Go! script, ‘Giggle Fangs is too good at Hoot and Seek’.

12 min Animated Preschool Series | Essential Media & Entertainment for ABC Kids :: Sail away to a world of fun and adventure with Sydney the sailboat and Zip the water taxi as they learn to ride the waves with their friends in bustling Bubble Bath Bay… After being part of the creative development of this project, it was great to have the opportunity to see the whole process through by jumping on board as Script & Story Editor, under the wonderful guidance of Script Producer Gina Roncoli and Series Director Steve Trenbirth.

24’ Teen Factual Entertainment Format :: Essential Media & Entertainment for ABC3 :: 26 young Australians tell their stories, in the own words, about the day that changed their life forever. It was an absolute privilege to have steered this fantastic series through development, and I’m so proud of the team who made it a reality. Kudos to ABC and ACTF for making it possible. 30′ documentary :: Produced by LaLa Pictures for ABC2 :: Developed with my dear friend, director Jay Court, this documentary premiered at the Cockatoo Island Film Festival.Dating the H*Bomb was made through the assistance of the Metro Screen Jumpstart Program, and developed and produced in association with the ABC and financed with the assistance of Screen Australia.
