Wendy Hanna is a Sydney-based screenwriter, script editor and development consultant. A former Development Executive, she has extensive experience across genres and regularly works with producers and creative teams to help concepts find their best form.

Her credits include iconic serials Neighbours, Home & Away, popular drama Love Child, and numerous children’s television series such as Beep & Mort, Giggle and Hoot, Dumbotz and Sydney Sailboat. She also wrote comedy documentary Dating the H*Bomb and co-created teen format MY:24.

She’s been twice nominated for an Australian Writers’ Guild award; for her work on Hoot Hoot Go! (2017) and The Wonder Gang (2021).
