Created by Dan Mansour, this series is a celebration of urban kids, multicultural communities and imagination. Flower is a fun-loving seven year-old and her best friend is Flour, a cat made out of a sack of flour. Cute! She lives with her parents who run a dumpling house in the heart of Western Sydney. I’m honoured to have helped develop and write on this wonderful show, and can not wait for you all to see it!

I had the pleasure of working with writer/director Taku Mbudzi on this film, part of ABC and Screen Australia’s 2022 Kaleidoscope Project. Gugu naGogo explores intergenerational and cultural relationships through 12 year-old Gugu, who’s desperate to reconnect with her beloved Gogo (grandmother) in faraway Zimbabwe.
